About this archive

Who is Brian?

Brian is a passionate transport enthusiast based in Ireland. For years he has been recording the vehicles that make up everyday public transport β€” buses pulling into stops, trams gliding through Dublin’s streets, trains departing platforms, and much more.

His channel is a carefully kept record of the vehicles, routes, and moments that transport fans care about β€” many of which no longer exist in their original form.

What is transport enthusiasm?

Transport enthusiasts (also called railfans, foamers, or gricers depending on the mode) are people who study and document public transport for its own sake. Interest areas include:

  • Bus types, fleet numbers, liveries, and route changes
  • Rolling stock, timetables, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Lift and escalator mechanics β€” a niche but dedicated community
  • Aircraft spotting at airports
  • Emergency services vehicles and response patterns
